Your CE is done. Your 2026 renewal is in REALM.

In 2026, TREC moved your license to the REALM online portal. New account. New screens. New place to renew.

If you get to REALM and nothing looks familiar, you're in the right place.

3 seconds. Our part of the paperwork.

We report your completed CE to TREC. You log into REALM, complete your renewal, and pay the state.

Reporting takes about three seconds when the systems are available. Check that your credit appears on your TREC record.

Here's how to renew in REALM.

Open REALM using the button below. We'll show you how to sign in, find your license, and renew it.

Complete the renewal. Pay TREC.

Choose Renew License for your record, then follow the renewal application through to the state payment.

The CE purchase and TREC's renewal fee are separate. Review the amount REALM shows before paying.

Save your confirmation and check your license status afterward. Finishing a CE course does not submit your renewal.

Can't find your license, the renewal button, or your CE hours? Choose a question below.

Why can't I find my license?

Your license needs to be linked, or "pinned," to your REALM account. TREC's guide includes the State ID and PIN lookup tool and a video showing the steps.

Follow TREC's license-pinning instructions →

Where is the Renew License button?

The option appears when your renewal window opens. Check your expiration date and TREC's renewal notification.

Why aren't my CE hours showing?

If you took it with us, ask us to check the posting. We report completed credit directly to TREC.

TREC says to pay your renewal even if provider credit is not yet on file. Missing education can still affect renewal status and fees.
