What is the TREC REALM portal?
The TREC REALM portal is where you manage your Texas real estate license online.
REALM stands for Real Estate and Appraiser License Management. It's where you renew, pay fees, and update license information.
New login. Same license.
Your old TREC login doesn't carry over. You'll create a REALM account, then check that your license appears.
Already set up? Head straight to the official portal.
Same number.
New letters at the end.
Those letters are your suffix. They identify your license type. Your original number hasn't changed.
Enter your number. We'll find the full number on TREC's public record.
This lookup sends your number to TREC's public search. It doesn't save your entry.
Get your TREC REALM account set up.
Start with a new login.
Open REALM and select "Register for an Account" or "Create an Account." Already registered? Use your REALM login.
TREC's account setup guideLook under Licenses.
After logging in, select the Licenses tab. Your license may already be linked. If all your records appear, you're set.
Go to the REALM loginLink it to your account.
Use the State ID or PIN from your activation email. Can't find that email? TREC has a lookup tool.
Get your State ID and PINThen follow TREC's license-linking guide.

Look for this tab after you log in.
Your license records belong here. Linking a record connects it to your account.
TREC's PIN lookup needs your email address and another matching detail. A license-number search needs the suffix too.
Your account is set up.

TREC's REALM help page brings those guides together.
Here because it's renewal time?
We've already put the renewal screens in order. Open that guide when you're ready to finish the paperwork.
Before you go.
Can I use my old TREC username and password?
No. Create a REALM account first. Then use the username and password you chose for that account.
Does the number tool link my license to REALM?
No. It finds your public license number and explains the letters. Link your license inside your own REALM account.
Why aren't my CE hours showing in REALM?
TREC says course credit can take 24 to 48 hours to appear in REALM. Reporting and display are separate steps.
You can also check your continuing education (CE) hours with our calculator.
